on! Goddamn this is a great column! (VIVA
LE CHEAP LABOR - Issue: 4/12) How in the world you hit
all the main points with humor and precision is beyond me. My
favorite passage by far is this utterly brutal truth: "It's not
about people. Never is. People are table scraps in the grand buffet
of profit. Collateral damage. It's about money, bubba. Everything
is about money."
I
read a ton of preachy bullshit from The Voice, the Times, every
liberal/conservative newspaper/periodical I can get my hands on
and Immigration Reform is by far the most divisive and dangerous
political issue: Because everyone has a vote-stake in it.
How do the liberals allow their holier-than-thou stance to escape
the rigors of lifting the downtrodden, while also trying to appear
tough on the security issue for November's election? And how about
conservatives walking a thin line between steadfast law-and-order
mavens and the mass of big businesses creeps on their payroll
who use these people to keep the profits up?
This
is a delicious political dilemma, and you captured it as well
as I have seen. Here's my favorite line from you column: "But
don't worry, those who are sent back can apply for citizenship,
and when they pass they can be dumped on our streets to try and
survive on meager wages while donating forty percent of it to
Social Security and Federal and State taxes. Then they'll run
back out and sneak back in again."

So
this whole thing has a fatal flaw, OK two: Rising wages and bad
service. One of the things that make illegals so nice to have
around is that they do NOT want any trouble. "Ees okay Boss, esposa
sew arm back on when I go home. Please no call yellow van, I want
to work" What happens when they're citizens? "Mmm, dunno Boss,
gotta call Union rep before finish mudding breakfast nook". If
this gets voted through, it will last about as long as the high
gas prices right before this last holiday buying season. Notice
Georgie's oil henchmen are starting to get more dollars for their
juice these days? A coincidence I'm sure. But I do know that high
wages from non-illegal labor won't last very long when these captains
of industry start seeing their azaleas turn brown and still have
to pay more cash for it.

I kept waiting to get pissed at you, as usual. But this time,
as I read on, I found myself cheering you. Somebody had to say
it.

You
are way off. This Scooter Libby story has no legs. (SCOOTER'S
SONG - Issue: 4/19) You are reaching, as usual. I am sick
of these non-story stories. You always write how much you hate
over-hyped stuff, and then you buy into it! Libby will fizzle.
The other stuff is much worse, the lobby kickbacks and misleading
due to the war - but this business with the CIA and Karl Rove
is a dead end politically. People will forget the likes of Scooter
Libby quickly. He will go to rich-man's jail for a few months
and then take his money into obscurity.
It's
wishful thinking to believe he will hand anyone over, even to
survive. He has nothing. He is as inconsequential as anyone around
the Bush Administration.
Now,
if they can get Rove to talk or turn state's evidence, or maybe
drug Cheney into telling the truth, even once, then you have a
story. But not now, and not with this nobody, Scooter.

check Jack Abramoff and Tom Delay's deceptive activities in the
South Pacific with the CIA. This involves the Hawaii delegates
to Congress and the Hawaii GOP Governor, Linda Lingle, both linked
to the Abramoff investigations with Karl Rove, Gale Norton, Joshua
Bolten, and Norm Brownstein, all of whom are associated to AIPAC
(American-Israeli Political Association Committee) in DC. This
involves "political capital spending" by Rove, Abramoff, Tony
Rudy, Gale Norton (U.S. Dept of Interior) and Ben Ginsberg with
Republican Law Firm, Patton Boggs. This also involves the hidden
suppression for the State of Hawaii officials suppressing what
amounts to be the Hawaiian Connection equivalent to the Iran-Contra
version in the South Pacific....only bigger since this involves
ILLGEAL proceeds amounting to TEN BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR OR
MORE, TAX FREE, SINCE January 29, 1982 in the diversified State,
Republic, or Kingdom of Hawaii.
Instead
of following up with investigation in Washington DC, the Bush
Administration officials and departments chose to use the Hawaiian
Connection proceeds and suppressed illegally activities as Political
capital to Politically BRIBE, BLACKMAIL, EXTORT, AND generate
Political and Economic Ransom from the Hawaii Delegates in return
for supporting the Native Hawaiian Akaka bill in Congress and
the secret suppression for hidden political proceeds being generated
by the Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement activist, associated to the
Hawaiian Bishop Estate Trust....the largest and richest Private
trust fund scandal in U.S. history.

CONNECTION and BOBBY HARMON'S CLAIMS, you can verify and confirm
what we are making references to in the secluded South Pacific...political
playground for Abramoff and Delay in early 2000 - 2001. This will
document the largest PUBLIC HOAX, PUBLIC SUPPRESSION, PUBLIC MANIPULATION,
PUBLIC FRAUD AND CORRUPTION IN U.S. LEGILATURE HISTORY since the
1920 TEA POT DOME SCANDAL; IRAN-CONTRA; AND THE WATERGATE COVER
UPS.

This
unconscionable harangue on the threat of Iran to the world stage
is probably the worst breech of sense and rationale I have ever
read. (PRAISE BE TO OIL BARONS - Issue: 5/10) You are a dangerous
man by simply being stupid and naïve. We MUST do something about
these maniacs before the entire region becomes utterly unmanageable,
if it isn't already.

The
Chinese look at us and laugh their asses off at what stupid northern
barbarians we are. We don't even have the strength of our convictions
regarding communism. The world is ruled by the Chino-Walmart hegemony.
Do
not underestimate the messianic tendencies and Jesus-freak delusions
of W. He thinks he's God's instrument on earth put here to do
this stuff. Personally, I believe plans to invade Iran are already
in place. Air strikes up the yin-yang to destroy their reactors
and hardened labs. That's why the rats are jumping ship.
